Education Program "Glowing Critters of the Ocean"

In our Saturday education programs, children will discover what it means to be a marine scientist. These are hands-on programs so be prepared to have fun and learn about the ocean! Parents must accompany children and participation is limited to the first 24 visitors, so please register in advance to secure your seat.

July 8 Glowing Critters of the Ocean

Some of the smallest creatures in the ocean are the most powerful and in some cases “bright”! This hands on program is a must “see”!

Did you know that coral is an animal and that there is a coral reef in the Gulf of Mexico? Come learn about the amazing habitat formed by these peculiar creatures and the current dangers corals face.

July 29 "Over In The Ocean, In a Coral Reef"

Did you know that coral is an animal and that there is a coral reef in the Gulf of Mexico? In this program we will read, learn, and be inspired by these diverse ecosystems!
