Come Explore the New Estuary Explorium

PORT ARANSAS, Texas – Port Aransas’s newest educational attraction, the Estuary Explorium, provides visitors a unique opportunity to learn about our local estuaries. The Explorium is located at the University of Texas Marine Science Institute in Port Aransas. These new exhibits are free and open to the public Monday through Friday (8 am - 5 pm) throughout the year and on Saturday (10 am – 3 pm) and Sunday (11 am – 3 pm) during the summer. The Estuary Explorium houses approximately 950 square-feet of engaging exhibits that are designed to increase public awareness of the value and transitional nature of the estuarine environment. The Explorium was designed to encourage self-guided exploration of estuaries through the use of interactive exhibits that you can feel, move, and hear. The Explorium just opened to the public on July 30th, so come by and experience this state-of-the-art education venue.
