The camera documents conditions in the Port Aransas shipping channel, looking towards the intersection between the Aransas Pass/Corpus Christi Ship Channel, the Aransas Channel, and the Lydia Ann Channels for maritime awareness. It is also near the NOAA Aransas Pass tide station.

TIDES: Our longtime oceanographer, Tony Amos, created the program that generated our tide predictions. Since his passing in 2017, we no longer have access to the specialized software he developed. The final set of tide predictions produced with that program ran through the year 2025. We are currently working to generate location‑specific tide predictions, but in the interim, please visit:
