Post-Fourth of July Beach Cleanup @Port Aransas

Help us keep our coastline clean and healthy by participating in a community beach cleanup on Saturday, July 12, at the Port Aransas South Jetty. Stop by anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to lend a hand and enjoy some time outdoors with fellow stewards of the coast. Cleanup supplies—including bags, grabbers, and gloves—will be provided. Look for the UTMSI truck near the jetties to check in. This event is hosted by the Mission-Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve and The University of Texas Marine Science Institute. We recommend wearing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and bringing plenty of water.
