Ride-alongs with ARK staff in UTVs or UT vehicles for patrol and response: Participate in patrols alongside ARK staff, driving UTVs or University vehicles to monitor nesting areas and assist with response efforts. This allows you to observe and assist with sea turtle conservation activities while learning from experienced professionals.

Personal vehicle patrol and response: Conduct patrols using your own vehicle to monitor nesting areas on Mustang Island. You’ll be responsible for identifying nesting sites and responding to any sea turtle activity, ensuring their protection in your assigned area.

Transport only: Assist with the transportation of sea turtle eggs from nesting sites to the Padre Island National Seashore incubation facility.
