We are offering two great workshops for teachers this summer:
FROM LABS TO LEARNING
Teachers creating Problem‐Based Learning Units from Ocean Acidification Research
Discover and learn about ocean acidification – what it is, how to teach it, and how it will impact the Gulf of Mexico. This workshop is a hands-on experience to give teachers the expertise and tools to provide cutting-edge and exciting curricula in their classrooms. This workshop is limited to eight teachers.

TEACHERS ON THE ESTUARY (TOTE)
Texas High School Teacher Workshop
Explore marine science from the intersection of social and environmental issues. This multi-day interactive workshop introduces science and social studies educators to the Teachers on the Estuary curriculum. The curriculum fosters science-to-civics literacy through a high school curriculum focused on sea-level rise resilience, food-web dynamics, and community-driven solutions. This workshop is limited to 15 teachers.
