UT Summer Science Week 1

May 27 @ 8:00 am May 30 @ 12:00 pm

UT Summer Science is an exciting, inquiry-based learning experience for youth entering 5th through 11th grade. Throughout the week, participants will be immersed in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) engagements that take them outside the classroom and into the field and laboratory. Each Summer Science session is co-facilitated by a scientist from the University of Texas Marine Science Institute and a program educator and provides participants with the opportunity to gain new skills, make new friends, build a deeper appreciation for the natural environment, and discover what it truly means to be a scientist!

Join real scientists in a quest for scientific discovery. We will explore local environments and investigate real-world science disciplines in the field and in the lab.

This program brings scientific concepts to life in order to gain a deeper understanding of the marine environment. Students are immersed in field and lab experiences, developing skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and the scientific method.

Each grade level camp is limited to 20 students, ensuring a focused and engaging learning experience.

$150 Deadline to register for Week 1 is May 22, 2025.
