Enhance your environmental literacy through film every Tuesday & Thursday at 3 pm in the UTMSI Auditorium. Films range in time from 10–45 minutes and are followed by a 15-20 minute, facilitator-led, group discussion. This event is FREE.

Thursday, Mar. 10th, 2015 - Shell Shocked
Saving oysters to save ourselves follows efforts to prevent the extinction of wild oyster reefs, which keep our oceans healthy by filtering water and engineering ecosystems. Today, because of overfishing and pollution, wild oyster reefs have been declared the most severely impacted marine habitat on earth and no longer play a role in their ecosystems.
