Temporary/Non-Benefits Eligible Positions:

  • Hatchery Technician - part-time, weekends for 10 hrs/wk to assist lab staff with various duties in order to keep the marine fish hatchery up and running. Inspect tank systems, check fish, feed fish, clean labs and tanks, record water parameters, raise zooplankton, and other duties as assigned by staff. Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills – will train successful applicant(s). Must be able to solve problems independently or contact staff to alert them of any issues. Work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, plus 2 hours on Monday and Friday.

    Qualifications:  Must be at least a junior or senior in high school or high school graduate/GED. Will train.
