Kids and Families Celebrate Coastal Bend Outdoor with Nature Challenge Closing Ceremonies
The family-friendly competition focused on exploring nature will come to an end this Saturday with the closing ceremonies held at The University of Texas Marine Science Education Center in Port Aransas. Participants in the Nature Challenge will gather to swap stories on their adventures and also participant in crafts, games and activities. The goal of Texas Nature Challenge is to get families and kids outdoors by visiting as many participating parks and nature areas in Texas as possible. Families and kids began their quest in August and they’ve been traveling across the Coastal Bend to participate in activities like having lunch with a butterfly and star gazing.
