Lend a hand tackling invasive plants in the Wetlands Education Center. We need your help keeping the invasive species out of this wetland, which serves as a valuable teaching tool to visitors, school groups and more.
Volunteers will primarily remove invasive Guinea grass. This grass is a monoculture and outcompetes native species. Volunteers should be wear pants, gloves and closed-toe shoes. Some tools, such as shovels and spades, will be provided, but extras are always appreciated.
