for best Student Presentation at Aquaculture America 2014, the annual meeting of the U.S. Aquaculture Society Chapter of the World Aquaculture Society, which was held in Seattle, Washington, two weeks ago. Erik presented: “Optimal ration for juvenile pigfish grow-out,” which included a strong data set tied together by a comprehensive model and a nifty web app to run the model. The letter announcing the award cited Erik’s high scores in both scientific content and presentation style. The award is particularly gratifying because it is a large, well-attended conference and Erik’s presentation was one of the last ones on the final afternoon.
Congratulations, Erik!
