- Marine Debris Specialist R_00035858: The Marine Debris Specialist will play a critical role in identifying, managing, and removing marine debris from coastal and marine environments. This individual will work closely with local communities and MAR partners to enhance efforts aimed at reducing marine debris and promoting environmental stewardship. In addition to debris removal, the specialist will lead outreach and education activities to raise awareness about the impacts of marine debris on marine ecosystems and coastal communities. - Research Program Coordinator. R_00035760: A Research Program Coordinator position is available to work with Dr. Kelly Dorgan starting in winter/spring 2025 (negotiable). Research in the lab integrates ecology, biomechanics (including engineering theory and methods), and invertebrate behavior, morphology and physiology with engineering theory and methods, including development of new instrumentation.
