We have several free educational programs this Winter (2023). 

Port Aransas

Patton Center, 855 East Cotter Ave. 

Our Public Lecture Series is back at UTMSI in our newly renovated Patton Center - Thursdays from Jan 12 - Feb 23rd. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the lecture starts at 7 p.m. FREE.

We also have a public lecture on Friday, January 13th at 4 p.m. entitled "Dredge or Die: a race to the bottom of the US Gulf Coast” by Joshua Lewis & Ben Depp

Our Bay Talks is a FREE public Lecture Series at the Bay Education Center in Rockport on Wednesdays @ 2 pm from January - February.

Jan 25th - Oyster Restoration & Carbon Sequestration
Feb 1st - Serpulid Reeds in Baffin Bay
Feb 8th - Managing & Monitoring Mangrove Habitats in the Mission-Aransas Reserve

Winter Texan programs are offered weekly on Fridays from 10:30-11:15 am for our Winter Texans and others. They're limited to the first 12 adults.
