Graduate student, Chris Biggs, wins big

Courtesy Photo.Chris Biggs, a Ph.D. Student with Dr. Brad Erisman, recently received an award for his work on spawning aggregations. The Science and Conservation of Fish Aggregations (SCRFA) granted a travel award for Chris to attend the 68th Annual Gulf and Caribbean Fisheries Institute Conference in Panamá City, Panamá, which occurred earlier this month. Chris’s presentation on the “Functional migration areas of Dog and Cubera Snapper spawning aggregations in the U.S. Virgin Islands” was well received and was acknowledged as one of the top student contributions to the conference. Congratulations Chris!
