The Estuary Explorium offers visitors a unique opportunity to learn about our local estuaries. 

The Estuary Explorium houses approximately 950 square feet of engaging exhibits that are designed to increase public awareness of the value and transitional nature of the estuarine environment. The Explorium was designed to encourage self-guided exploration of estuaries through the use of interactive exhibits that you can feel, move, and hear. 

The Estuary Explorium was made possible through a grant from the Mission-Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and support from the University of Texas Marine Science Institute.
