Summer Science Registration Open

UT Summer Science is an exciting, inquiry-based learning experience for students entering 3rd through 8th grade. 

BlogCover SummerScienceWorking alongside marine scientists from the University of Texas, students will experience science outside of the classroom. By the end of the program, students will gain a deep personal appreciation for the marine environment, become aware of local and global threats, learn to solve complex problems using the scientific method and understand what it truly means to be a scientist.

WHO:   3rd - 4th grade students in the 2019/2020 school year: $50/week. Meets from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

5th - 6th grade students in the 2019/2020 school year: $85/week. Meets from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

7th - 8th grade students in the 2019/2020 school year: $85/week. Meets from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

WHEN: 

Ocean Warriors June 3-7 & June 17-21 

Conservation lessons and how we can be stewards for our oceans. 

Seas the Day! June 10-14 & June 24-28 

Lessons on adventures exploring and studying marine science.

 

REGISTRATION: Click here to register. Click the link for "UTMSI Conferences" and select the week and grade level you would like to purchase on the left. (Students register for the grade they will be entering in the fall of 2019.) Our registration process requires that all purchases be made online via credit card. In addition, all participating students must be checked-out individually. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
